Bruce E. Woodworth, M.D.
Dr. Woodworth was born in Hayward, California. He received his undergraduate degree at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. He served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee, prior to his medical education at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Dr. Woodworth completed his surgery internship and urology residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. After completing his training, he joined the faculty of Ohio State University, Division of Urology, Department of Surgery in Columbus, Ohio in 1989 and was a clinical assistant professor and in private practice until 2005. Dr. Woodworth joined the faculty of the University of Tennessee in 2006 and is a Clinical Assisted Professor of Surgery (urology). He is an active member of the urology faculty and is involved in residency training and research programs. His practice encompasses urologic reconstruction, minimal invasive surgery, including laparoscopy and DaVinci robotic surgery, male and female incontinence, stones, and general urology.
Dr Woodworth is certified by the American Board of Urology and is an active member of the American Urologic Association.
